Abstract

The present work was carried out with the objective of offering to the engineers, an easier tool for the global analysis of the processes, once integrated using only the software, Aspen Plus. The possibilities of integration of heat and mass are analyzed in Paper Mill Damuji, using modern tools of processes integration. Were used methods of processes synthesis, use of optimization technical to obtain the viable alternatives from the point of view technical and environmental, for an economic later analysis through dynamic methods. The developed strategy allowed to detect the main deficiencies in the process and its repercussion on the environment. Begin to apply the analysis energy Pinch that which carry to increase the energy efficiency and to diminish the use of fresh water, what is translated in the minimization of residual to treat to the final of the process. The strategy can be applied to other plants with view to obtain cleaner technologies. This work conclude that using the advantages offers the simulator Aspen Plus can carry out the
material and energetic integration analyzing the process of study in a way more integrative.
