Abstract

In this work is developed a method for the application of imagenology techniques for the quantification of the phases present in 12Cr1MoV steel that is used in the main lines of steam from Cuba power plants, which gives a measure of the ageing degree of the same one. In the developed method is applied the techniques of the quantitative metallography for the determination of microstructuctural parameters, is carried out a process for preparation of the metallographic digital image to subject it to the binary levels analysis which determine the microstructural behaviour.
