Abstract

According to the use or application of rubber, it should have some mechanical properties. These properties depend on the composition of the mixture. This research deals with the influence of the variation of accelerant additives MBT, TMTD and ZnO as an activator, over the mechanical properties of the elastomer compound. Furthermore, it describes the behaviour of the tensile
strength, tearing strength, fatigue resistance due to flexion, elastic modulus, poisson´s ratio, hardness, plasticity and time of cure like principal properties used to evaluate the quality of elastomers materials.
