Abstract

This project is based on the current situation of the water treatment plant analysis at the Rum Caney Factory in Santiago de Cuba city, doing algorithms and automatic programming that will controlled the process of this plant, in ladder contact language. Due to the existing operational situation of the plant and the current tendencies in the world on the topic, this work will end with the current plant stops and will give the possibility to the qualified personnel to manipulate the programming involved in the production. A analysis was done for the determination of all variables: input and output, and the relationships of them and the intended algorithms for the production control and flow were chosen. A new control strategy is intended in order to substitute the current PLC and programming language. The results can be easy the maintenance and reconfiguration tasks for self operators.
