Abstract

The main objective of the work is to develop an experimental procedure that allows to determine the amount of adsorbent, adsorbed and desorbed by adsorbents refrigerants pairs for use in adsorption cooling systems, as well as to perform the evaluation of the ACX1/HFC410A pair. It was obtained that the difference between the maximum and minimum concentration for the established operating conditions turned out to be 0.64545 kg of HFC410A refrigerant per kg of ACX1 activated carbon, which defines the amount of refrigerant, also called adsorbate that participates in the heat extraction in a cooling system where said torque is used.
