Abstract

A strategy is developed for the evaluation from the level of environmental management for facilities with PCBs applications, principles, objectives and goals for a sure primary management. As well as a methodology for the identification of applications with PCBs that allow conforming the management system guided to guarantee the technological and environmental security in the
storage, transport and sure handling of transformers oils and equipment contaminated in operation and out of use. The economic analysis, based on the theory externalities, demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed system and acceptable recovery period.
