Abstract

In the present study were evaluated three models mathematical described in the literature to predict the influence of pH and temperature on the rate of growth bionematicida Tsukamurella
paurometabola of the microorganism, strain C-924. Used the semi-defined culture medium (SD), which is the main nutrient yeast extract and sucrose. It was determined that the complete model of Zwietering et al. (1991) is the one that best describes the influence of temperature on the specific speed of growth. In the case of pH, the model proposed by Rosso et al. (1995) was the best fit. In this paper we propose a model combined from individual models of both variables. The model showed that a higher rate of growth was obtained at a pH of 6,6 and temperature of 36 °C.
