Abstract

The present work was carried out in the UEB of Frank País García cereals from Santiago de Cuba, where wheat grain is milled and soybeans benefit. The environmental impacts that were produced through the Buroz Integrated Relevant Criteria methodology were identified and assessed. The assessment identified that the main environmental pollution problems of UEB are: inadequate management of solid wastes and hazardous wastes, generation of solid particles in the form of dust, emissions of gases in combustion processes, Noises and the existence of idle reagents without movement. Of all the evaluated impacts were critical in the production process of Flour: the generation of powder with a IP of 16.8, while in the process of benefit of the soybean was a critical impact the emissions of CO with an IP of 10.06.
