Abstract
To be the biomass a renewable and broadly available source, its use for the energy production has a great responsibility in the reduction of the emissions of gases of effect hothouse and consequently the prevention of the global heating. In this work they are approached in a general way, the stages of the technological process for the conversion of the biomass lignocellulosic to ethanol; emphasizing in as of the structural characteristics of the lignocellulose are derived the properties chemist physics that can condition the process.
