Technology for Treatment of Wastewater from the Plant for the Synthesis of a Nitroaromatic Compound

Abstract

In plant of synthesis of a nitro aromatic compound highly dangerous are obtained waste waters that contain fundamentally nitric acid. In this work is carried out the project of an efficient installation to treat this water, as much from the point of view of the personal security of the workers like of the no contamination of environment. In the work is performed a technical analysis-economic feasible treatment alternatives to use and select the most suitable variant. Are used experimental design methods necessary to determine the parameters of chemical reactions that occur and development of the material
and energy balances. Subsequently, we define the technological scheme and are made the design of main, auxiliary equipment and piping systems, using different computer programs. Finally, it performs the plant layout of equipment and is carried out the economic analysis. This paper proposes the technological design of the wastewater treatment system of the plant for the production of aromatic nitro compound, representing the basic criteria for the subsequent design, construction and installation of equipment and plant as a whole and it’s evidence of how you can aim our efforts to eliminate problems related to environmental pollution through the use of cleaner technologies that contribute to sustainable solutions for the development of our country.
