INFLUENCE OF DESIGN IN THE PROTECTION CORROSION CONDITIONS CLIMATE OF CUBA

Abstract
The growth of sectors prioritized like the tourism, nickel, civil aviation, electrical generation and petroleum, among others, have increased the metallic constructions and equipment. It is also related to this growth the equipment of the transport in operation, being located the majority of investments in zones next to the coasts, with high corrosive aggressiveness. As a result of studies of the atmospheric corrosion and the evaluation of paintings, it has been identified the anticorrosive design like one of the factors of greater incidence in the losses that take place. In the present work international standards for the study and identification of the design problems are applied, as well as the ultrasonic technique and the digital photographyapplied to equipment and facilities. It is concluded that the anticorrosive design is of all the factors, that influences more in the deterioration by corrosion and its solution implies an improvement of the systems of anticorrosive protection that includes other products besides paintings.
