Abstract

This work profundices in the electrocoagulation process at which is someted the waste liquid proceeding from Hatuey Destillery with the objective of obtain the solids present in it to be utilized
as corrosion inhibitors. With the solids this residual contains another agresive factors, such as low pH and high temperature. In others works it was demonstrated that by means of the electrocoagulation process can be separated a lot of solids and the pH value increases, but the temperature was greater, by this motive it was analized the influence of the variables: electrode type, intensity of current and residence time by means of experimental design 23, obtaining the optimal combination of these variables that permits to obtain a greater quantity of solids in the foam and in the liquid. With the objective of eliminate the temperature as a significative variable, was design a cooling coil that permits to maintain the temperature constant during the electrocoagulation process.
